Kateryna Rau

The journey of Kateryna Rau as a singer is characterized by a blend of rigorous academic training and rich performance experiences. Her musical education began at the National Pedagogical University M. Dragomanov in Kyiv, Ukraine, where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Music and English from 2013 to 2017. During this time, she laid the foundation of her vocal skills, participating in numerous concerts organized by the university, which gave her early exposure to live performance settings.

In 2017, she moved to Vienna, Austria, to further her studies at the Prayner Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Arts, where she focused on solo singing. Over the next three years, she developed her vocal technique and stage presence, performing in a variety of concerts organized by the conservatory. These experiences were crucial in enhancing her versatility and understanding of diverse vocal repertoires.

Since 2021, she has been studying at the Diözesankonservatorium for Church Music in Vienna, expanding her focus to include the interpretation of Song, Mass, and Oratorio. Her involvement with the Diözesankonservatorium and her active participation in the Wiener Singakademie, the choir of the Vienna Konzerthaus, have significantly shaped her artistic development. These roles have provided her with opportunities to perform in prestigious venues and collaborate with other accomplished musicians.

Kateryna’s artistic journey is far from over; she continues to learn and grow, embracing new challenges and opportunities to expand her vocal artistry. Her passion for vocal music drives her to constantly seek out new experiences, ensuring her development as a singer remains dynamic and ever-evolving.
